For over four decades, Bradley Murchison attorneys have built a tradition of service to the Energy and Natural Resources Industry by providing quality legal representation to virtually all sectors of the industry, from on-shore and offshore oil, gas and solid mineral operations, to midstream and upstream pipelines and related infrastructure, to Federal and state regulation and compliance. While our practice is generally focused on the industry’s operations in Louisiana, we have significant experience all across the southern region and offshore. We work with industry clients in connection with issues and opportunities presented by the on-going development of the natural resources underlying the state of Louisiana, as well as in East Texas and Southern Arkansas. Our attorneys have served as project counsel in the development and operation of the first commercial lignite surface mine operation in Louisiana, an operation which involved the development and production of lignite underlying over 30,000 acres in northwest Louisiana. In addition, the commercial and in-house years of experience of Bradley Murchison’s Energy and Natural Resources attorneys continue to play a key role in the support we provide industry clients in the various aspects of their engagement in the Outer Continental Shelf (Gulf of Mexico Region, Pacific Region, newly open Mexico licenses).

Our attorneys include past and present members of the Louisiana Mineral Law Institute, the state’s principal promoter of education and development of mineral law.
