About Taylor

Taylor Landry Magruder is an associate in Bradley Murchison’s Baton Rouge office. She joined the firm in 2026 and focuses her practice on oil and gas–related matters.

Prior to joining Bradley Murchison, Taylor served as Deputy Executive Counsel and Legislative Analyst in the Office of Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry. As a member of the Governor’s legal and legislative team, she worked on complex legal and policy issues involving statutory interpretation, regulatory frameworks, and legislative strategy. Her work included drafting pleadings and legal memoranda in matters involving constitutional, statutory, and administrative law. She also worked on litigation strategy in matters pending in both state and federal courts. In that role, she regularly worked with state agencies, legislative staff, and executive leadership to address legal and policy issues affecting Louisiana.

Through her experience in state government, Taylor developed a strong understanding of Louisiana’s legal and regulatory environment, which provides valuable insight when working on matters affecting the oil and gas industry.
