Our lawyers advise clients about legal requirements, develop customized solutions to ensure compliance with applicable laws, and assist in crafting policies to remain in compliance with such laws. We work cooperatively with federal and state regulators to promote our client’s goals and remain compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
The experience of our lawyers, as former officers of an interstate pipeline company, an intrastate pipeline company, a gathering company, and a gas marketing company provide great depth of knowledge of the pipeline industry and allow us to provide insight and guidance not typically available in private law firms. The Interstate and Intrastate Pipeline team works very closely with our clients, keeping abreast of industry developments and evolving policies of regulatory authorities, and often functioning as counsel on day to day matters of contracting and operations.
Our work with the revision of the Louisiana expropriation laws relevant to pipelines, as well as our extensive experience in pipeline right of way and expropriation work in Louisiana allows a unique perspective in handling both intrastate and interstate pipeline construction projects.
