On November 23, 2021, Michael Mims presented a CLE course to a national audience for the Strafford Publications presentation “Lost Chance Doctrine in Medical Malpractice Cases: Evolving Standards of Proof and Damages Formulas.” In the presentation, Mr. Mims advised practitioners on strategies for navigating damages and causation issues presented by “loss of a chance of survival” claims, and suggested possible defenses to raise to such claims.
