Bradley Murchison is pleased to announce that C. William Bradley has been bestowed the Industry Defender Award (IDA) by the Board of Directors of the Medical Professional Liability (MPL) Association for outstanding lifelong contributions to defending physicians, other healthcare professionals, hospitals, and clinics. In presenting the award, MPL President Brian K. Atchinson, praised the recipients and acknowledged, “their successful representation of healthcare professionals embodies excellence in the defense field.”
As senior partner at Bradley Murchison, Bradley represents healthcare providers and other professionals in court, on appeal, and before regulatory agencies. His practice consists principally of the defense of medical professional liability actions in the Louisiana state and federal courts. He also has an extensive appellate practice. Bradley has been involved in most of the major cases that have challenged the constitutionality of the “cap” as well as those cases that have alleged that the specific allegations of a patient injury fall outside the parameters of the Louisiana malpractice statute.
