Katie Baker recently served as a co-chair of the Institute for Energy Law (IEL) Young Energy Professional Workshop: The Oil and Gas Sessions held on February 3-4, 2021. This conference featured transactional and litigation topics focused on oil and gas law and designed for attorneys in their first ten years of practice. Katie also served as the moderator for a new panel titled “Best Pretrial Practices in Working with Client Representatives and Witnesses” featuring legal and business representatives discussing best practices (and potential pitfalls) in coordinating pretrial tasks in energy litigation.
