Nathan is from Shreveport, Louisiana and graduated magna cum laude from Caddo Magnet High School in May 2018. At Caddo Magnet, Nathan was the President of the debate team and won the Louisiana state and district championships in policy debate his senior year. Nathan graduated summa cum laude with his B.A. in Political Science from Louisiana Tech University in February 2022. While at Louisiana Tech, Nathan served as the Commissioner of Elections for the Student Government Association, president of the Pre-Law Society, and was a member of the Honors Student Advisory Board, which helped form the Honors College at Louisiana Tech.
Nathan graduated with his J.D. and D.C.L. from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in May 2025. During law school, Nathan was a published member and Senior Editor of the Louisiana Law Review, and was the Commissioner of Elections for the Student Bar Association. Nathan also received CALI awards for International Law and the Oil and Gas Seminar. Nathan also externed for the East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney’s Office and the Honorable Hunter V. Greene on the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal.
