Micholle Mordock has defended a wide variety of healthcare providers including: physicians, dentists, veterinarians, advanced practice nurses, physician assistants, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, chiropractors, certified registered nurse anesthetists, colon hydrotherapists, counselors, social workers, EMT’s, pharmacists, home health nurses, nursing homes, senior living facilities, out-patient surgery centers, LTAC’s, SNF’s, rural community clinics, behavioral health facilities, hospice, rehabilitation hospitals, family health clinics, pharmacies, university student training practical schools, veterinarian clinics, medical device company – diabetic supplies, dialysis units, teaching colleges and community health centers. In addition to medical malpractice trial and appellate work, she has also successfully defended clients before the Nursing, Medical, Physical Therapy and Dental State Boards.
Micholle Mordock began her career on the plaintiff side, litigating medical malpractice and mass tort claims, including MDL work. This diversity has lent a larger perspective to the scope of her practice.
Prior to joining Bradley Murchison, Micholle Mordock worked as in house counsel assisting CNA Insurance Company with regulatory compliance for the medical malpractice policies in the State of Louisiana in order to ensure they were compliant with the Louisiana Medical Malpractice Act requirements. Micholle Mordock provides in service presentations and “lunch and learns” for LTAC, hospital and SNF clients to assist in defensive charting techniques and weathering DHH inspections. Micholle Mordock grew up in Switzerland and also attended university in Mexico City and has proficient fluency in both French and Spanish.

Camellia Hospice, 152 So. 3rd 872 (1st Cir. 2014) successful Motion for Summary Judgment dismissal and appellate upholding of decision that a Doctor of Physical Therapy, under the Louisiana Physical Therapy Act could not offer an opinion on causation and subsequent dismissal for failure to prove an element of Plaintiff’s burden of proof.
