About Magda

Magdalena Majka’s practice includes non-compete disputes, matters arising under the Louisiana Wage Payment Act, medical malpractice defense, product liability, and commercial litigation. She has a strong emphasis on legal research and writing, and she regularly drafts dispositive motions and appellate briefs in both Louisiana state and federal courts.

 

Ms. Majka began her legal career in Poland, where she earned her Master of Laws from the University of Warsaw and served as a judge in the Commercial Division of the District Court of Warsaw. After relocating to the United States, she earned her LL.M., with distinction, from Tulane University Law School.

 

Her work combines international legal experience with a deep understanding of U.S. procedural and substantive law, supporting clients and trial counsel in a wide range of complex matters.

 

Ms. Majka is a native speaker of Polish, fluent in English, and has basic knowledge of French.
