Dakota Hawkins practices primarily in the areas of energy & natural resources, oil & gas title, and commercial & business litigation, with a focus in Energy Law, earning the Energy Graduate Certificate from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in Baton Rouge, LA in 2018 and serving on the Board for the Journal of Energy Law.
While in law school, Dakota was an extern for the Honorable Judge Brian A. Jackson, U.S. District Court, Middle District of Louisiana. In addition, before attending law school, Dakota served as an Infantry Rifleman (0311) for the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 2012 – 2015.
